Description

Prime Ohio locations with terrain of these farm properties will vary from mature hardwoods, food plots, dense thickets and agriculture fields. Stand locations are baited with corn and feeders set for 30 minutes after sunrise and 2 hours before sunset. Limited number of hunters and keep hunters in productive areas by rotating farms weekly. This rut hunt is the best time to be in the woods. PERIOD. Bucks have ABSOLUTELY lost their minds and are after one thing: a hot doe. We transition back to the food sources and feeders to start hunting the does. If you have 10 does under your stand, the bucks are bound to follow! Shot opportunities at 140-inch or larger deer are far better this time of year. Most hunters see multiple shooter bucks on a daily basis during this time. If you sit in the stand all day, you are sure to get an opportunity at an Ohio trophy! 5 day guided hunts include home cooked meals, lodging and in hunt transportation. Sack lunch provided to stay in the field all day or hot lunch at the lodge if you decide to take a midday break.
